The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-round match which will be broadcast in real-time on the streaming platform.
Briton Anthony Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "break" his opponent as the combatants came face-to-face to build hype for the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Former two time world title holder Anthony Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive mismatch - at Miami Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Fighter's Mentality
"I will break his face and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35 years old, stated.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.
"I will seriously aim to hurt him. That's what I want to do."
Civil Interaction
Despite these statements, a composed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - usually known for his dramatics - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul instead criticized former Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and described him as "a joke" after the Cameroonian turned down a fight offer.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, targeted UK opponent Fury - and declined a large bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul is superior to Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua said.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Fighter
Despite stating he plans to damage his opponent, Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he remarked.
Paul's Background
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mostly fought mixed martial artists or faded names since becoming pro.
He was defeated by British fighter Fury in last year.
Financial Success
Still, the relative newcomer is still one of the sport's greatest money-making draws, frequently receiving huge paydays.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28 year old anticipated a knockout win in the fourth or fifth round and claimed he would stop the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly being planned for 2026.
"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul stated.
Physical Disparity
As Joshua and Paul participated in the usual face-off, with their physical disparity evident, it drove home just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the bout is truly proceeding.
